Elizabeth H. (Preston) Doberck, 85, died December 4, 2010 at Sippican Healthcare Center in Marion.
Born in Bellshill, Scotland in 1925, daughter of the late Peter Preston and Helen (Hallinan), she retired to Fairhaven in the mid-seventies and lived in Marion for the last fifteen years.
She was married to Carl V. Doberck, Jr. in 1943, with whom she raised six children in NY; Peter Doberck, Carol Beadle, Elizabeth Vermeulen, William Doberck, Ellen Montella and the late Carl Doberck.
She enjoyed knitting and reading.
She is survived by five children, twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Her private Funeral Service was held om Wednesday, December 8th in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6) Mattapoisett. Burial followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
