Bedford Village Nursing Home after declining health. She was the wife of the late Edward Belong, and her first husband Manuel Costa. She was the loved mother of Edward Costa of New Bedford, Laura Fisher of New Bedford, Natalie Medeiros of Pawtucket, RI., Cheryl Monty of Fall River, and the late Manuel and Richard Costa. Edmena was the sister of Natalie Ventura of Dartmouth and the late Juliette Oliver and Loretta Tavares.
Mrs. Belong was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Souza) Costa- Belong. She was born in New Bedford and li9ved in this area all her life. She was a Packer at various seafood plants. She was a former member of the Moose Lodge # 914.
Mrs. Costa-Belong’s Graveside Service will be Tuesday December 7th at Rural Cemetery at 11 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Arrangements are by the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St.
