Brown and his wife Amy of Lynn. Dear sister of Stephen Muniz, Michael Muniz and Julie Anderson all of Gloucester, Shirley Olson of Newton and the late Christine Mederos-Fisher. Mother-in-law of Lynn Fox of AL. Godmother to Kathy Ferent of Newton. Also lovingly survived by 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Visiting Hours in the Smith-Carroll Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Born in Beverly and a lifelong Malden resident, Virginia passed away peacefully Tuesday morning at her son's home surrounded by her loving and devoted family at the age of 74. In her working years, she spent over 10 years as the Malden Police Matron, was the owner of "Ginny B's" Card Store, a longtime fixture in Maplewood Square. After closing the store, she went on to work as the bookkeeper for the Jackson Street Garage, a position she held for 10 years until retirement. Virginia was also a member of the VFW Womens Auxiliary.
