Dorey of Plymouth formerly of Pembroke, Arthur G. “Skip” at Jordan Hospital December 4. Beloved husband of Margaret (Williams) Dorey of Plymouth, father of Linda and her husband Edward Davey of Medway, grandfather of Christopher Davey. He was the son of the late Harry and Olive (Way) Dorey
Skip was born in Boston graduated from high school in Caribou, ME. He worked for many years for Howard Johnson’s. He also co-owned and operated Colonial Reprographics in Hanover with his brother-in-law, Robert Cousins. He was an avid reader and loved to travel and spend time with his family in his retirement.
A funeral service will be held at Christ Church Parish, 149 Court St. Plymouth on Wednesday December 8 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 619 State Road (Rte 3A) Plymouth, (Manomet) Tuesday December 7, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701-4688 or the charity of choice.
