Kevin James Roberto, 55 of Arlington, died Wednesday December 1, at home surrounded by his loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Arlington, he lived all his life there and was a 1972 graduate of Arlington High School.
He also graduated from Graham Jr., College in Boston and Salem University in West Virginia with degrees in Broadcasting. Kevin James worked as a contractor for Archer Government Services assigned to MITRE Corp. in Bedford for the past 10 years. He also was an extra in several movies and commercials including Blown Away and commercials for Building 19 and was a member of the Boston Casting for 30 years.
Beloved and devoted son of Vinnie (Fagone) of Arlington and the late Milio “Bill” Roberto. Loving brother and best friend of Michael A. Roberto of Arlington, Linda Jo Dickerson and her husband Joel of Watertown. Cherish Godfather of Michelle, Elizabeth, David and Megan. Long time partner to Patricia "Patty" Lieber of Boston. His precious cat of 12 years ZOE MAE and many loving nieces and nephews. Heartfelt thanks to Asmine, Marie and Jean of Seasons Hospice.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford St., Arlington, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Sunday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.
