Gary M. MacDonald, 52, of East Derry, NH, died on Thursday December 2, 2010, in the Concord Hospital, Concord, NH due to complications from a sudden illness. He was born in Boston, MA on March 4, 1958, son of the late Joseph and Joanne (Blute) MacDonald. He grew up in Randolph and Marshfield, MA and had moved to New Hampshire in April of 1987. Gary served his country in the U.S. Army. In the computer field he taught about hardware, moved to sales and then opened his own consulting business. He recently owned and operated RIP Solutions, LLC in Salem, NH. Gary loved watching the Patriots and the Bruins, fishing, sports, playing poker and gambling. He also enjoyed biking, racquetball and playing softball in his office leagues. Gary was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.
He is survived by his daughter; Kelly M. MacDonald of East Derry.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours were held on Monday, December 6, 2010 from 5 - 8:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry.
