Mary Theresa Porter, of Medford, died Wednesday evening at her home, after a brief illness.She was 88.
Born in Boston, she was a life long Medford resident. Mary graduated Medford High. She was a dedicated housewife and mother who was devoted to the care of her family.
Mary’s husband, Frank K. Porter, died in 1989.She is survived by one daughter, Jean Marie Porter of Medford, and one son, Frank K. Porter, Jr. of Billerica. Mary also leaves 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and many cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 9 am at St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford.Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden. Friends may call Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
