MANCHESTER-Juliette Y. Blankenship, 89, died December 2, 2010 at Hackett Hill Health Care following a long illness.
She was born in Manchester on May 6, 1921 the daughter of Charles and Marie Anna (Chouinard) Carignan and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
She enjoyed Bingo and taught herself to bake wedding cakes.
Members of her family include her husband of 60 years Pickney Blankenship of Manchester, three daughters, Doris Blankenship, Deborah Forestburg both of Manchester and Doreen Blankenship of Goffstown, one brother Charles Carignan of Manchester, one sister, Vivian Panzieri of Auburn, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
IN HER LIFE: She also leaves three grandchildren, Shannon Huzar of Manchester, Timothy Hersey, Alex Blankenship both of Goffstown, one great-granddaughter Charlotte Hersey of Goffstown.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be Monday from 6 to 8 PM at the J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 in the funeral home during the calling hours.
