Paula A. DesRoche 54, of Taunton formerly of N. Easton and Brockton died Friday Nov. 26, 2010 at her home after a period of failing health.
Born and raised in Brockton, Paula was a daughter of the late Robert and Patricia (Hallisey) DesRoche and was a 1974 graduate of Brockton High School. She had received her associate degree from Massasoit Community College and was a veteran of the US Army.
Paula was a marketing specialist with Advantage Sales & Marketing in Foxboro. She was also a talented crafter who designed and sold beaded jewelry and crocheted items. She also loved the beach especially White Horse Beach in Plymouth. She cherished time spent with her family and organizing family events.
The mother of the late Mary K. DesRoche, Paula was the sister of Mary Tarantino of Brockton; John DesRoche and his wife Norma of Lakeville; Joseph DesRoche of Falmouth and the late William and Robert DesRoche. She leaves her devoted companion William Rollins of Taunton and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Paula’s Life will be held at the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Sunday Dec. 5, 2010 from 2-5 pm with a prayer service at 4:40 pm. Burial will be private. Donations in Paula’s name may be made to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation 811 W. Evergreen Avenue Suite 303 Chicago, IL 60642.
