David E. Powers, 68, of Londonderry, NH died Wednesday December 1, 2010 in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry. Mr. Powers was born in Weymouth, MA on May 2, 1942, son of the late Emmett and Mary (Conlon) Powers. He served for six years with the US Army Reserves, and was a graduate of Massasoit Community College in Massachusetts. He had resided in Londonderry for the past 33 years, formerly living in Pembroke, MA. Mr. Powers looked forward to spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed golfing with his grandson.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judith A. (Nickerson) Powers of Londonderry, two daughters, Debra MacDougall and her husband John of Derry, Stacy Powers of Londonderry, one son, Chris Powers of Gorham, ME, five grandchildren, Melissa, Gunnar, Matthew, Zeph and Stephanie, one sister, Linda Powers, of Hingham, MA.
There are no calling hours. Memorial services may be held at a later date at the family's convenience.
