Patricia Ann (Porter) Streeter, 69, of Palm Harbor, Florida, formerly of Spencer/East Brookfield, MA, passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her cherished family on December 2, in Auburn. Patricia, the daughter of Clifford and Helen (Doslea) Porter, was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 28, 1941.
Pat was the beloved wife of 48 years to Ronald E. Streeter. She was the devoted mother to her son, Dennis R. Streeter and his wife Michele of Spencer, and her daughter Beth Ann Parish of Auburn, her brother Clifford Porter of Northport, Fl. She was the loving grandmother to Rebecca, Emily, Madison and Alec.
Patricia’s life devotion was to her husband, family, friends and faith. Within this community of love, she found her greatest purpose and fulfillment. For to Pat, her life’s calling was to be a beloved wife, nurturing mother, adoring grandmother, loyal companion, and Christian woman. With humility, Pat embraced her life’s journey with honor and valued her life’s mission as a blessing.
Pat will always be remembered for her gift of hospitality. Sharing her love for cooking, baking, decorating, sewing and crafting was a reflection of her warm and welcoming home when entertaining family and friends. Throughout her life, Pat baked batches of good will and stitched seamless good cheer. Pat’s spirit of generosity and grace followed her to Florida, where she and her husband enjoyed the warmth of retirement and golfing. Marriage, family, friends and faith were Pat’s hole-in-one.
Patricia’s memory will live on in the many lives she touched. For she instilled in others, the life lesson she daily lived: the simple expressions of love are the profound and enduring treasures of life.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. in the J. Henri Morin & Son Funeral Home, 23 Maple Terrace, Spencer. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, E.Brookfield. Calling hours will be held on Monday, Dec. 6 from 4 to 7p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the David Prouty Atheltic Boosters Club, 302 Main Street, Spencer, MA 01562. in her memory.
