Bill Paul, 103, of Irwin County, Georgia, died December 18, 2003 at his home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 21, 2003, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Ocilla with Rev. J.A. Clements officiating. Interment will follow in the Ocilla Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 P.M., Saturday, at Paulk Funeral Home in Ocilla.
Mr. Paul was born January 31, 1900, in Wilcox County, Georgia, to the late Alec and Sudie Hogan Paul and lived in Irwin County most of his life. Two wives and two sons also preceded him in death. Mr. Paul was a carpenter and a farmer. He was a member of Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Ocilla.
Mr. Paul is survived by his wife: Jewel C. Paul, Irwin County; step-daughter, JoAnn Hendley, Fitzgerald; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; brother, Elbert Paul, Fitzgerald
