Doris (Hudon) Dalton, 79, died Tuesday morning, November 30, 2010.
Born in Pawtucket, RI on January 2, 1931, she was raised and educated in Nashua, NH and had made her home in Lowell for many years. In recent years, she was a resident of Georgetown.
For thirty-nine years, she was employed by Raytheon in Tewksbury. She also served the Town of Georgetown as a crossing guard for many years at the Perley School.
She loved children and animals and was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Kelly Dalton, and two granddaughters, Kaylee and McKenzie Dalton, all of Georgetown, and two sisters, Gertrude Laquerre and Theresa Nadeau, both of Florida. She was predeceased by a brother, Chip Hudon.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 9AM in St. Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited.
Visiting hours are Thursday from 5-7PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MSPCA-Angell, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130.
