Anthony G. “Nino” Serrano, 74 of Medford, died Tuesday after a long illness.
Born in Italy, he lived in Medford for the past 50 years and was the son of the late Grace (Gullotta) and Antonio Serrano. Anthony was an Engine Rebuilder, employed by Ideal Engine in Somerville for many years and retired in 1998.
Beloved husband of Gloria (Gianino) Serrano. Devoted father of Anthony Serrano and his wife Renee of North Andover, Grace Griburas and her husband Evangelos of NH, Lydia Stordy and her husband Brian of GA, Stephanie Haig and her husband David of CT. Also survived by 12 loving grandchildren. Brother of Carlo Serrano of Italy.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Thursday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
