Helen L. (Condon) Gile, 82, of Natick died Monday, November 8, 2010 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Donald B. Gile, married for 62 years.
Born in Natick and a lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late David and Eva (Barney) Condon.
Mrs. Gile formerly worked at Leonard Morse Hospital as a secretary in the Emergency Room and later at the Loehmans in Natick. She was a dedicated and longtime volunteer at the hospital with the Ladies Aid Society.
Mrs. Gile was an artistic and talented, crafting beautiful ceramics and embroidery, sewing, and quilting.
She was devoted to her family and especially cherished her grandchildren.
Mrs. Gile attended the Natick School System and was a graduate of Natick High School class of 1946.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a son Scott D. Gile of Lunenburg, two daughters Beth D. Gile of Newburyport, Cindy A. Snow of Hopkinton, a brother David Condon of Barnstable, 5 grandchildren, Benjamin Snow, Nicholas Snow, Patrick Gile, Sean Gile, and Siobhan Gile, and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Elaine Tibbert and Jean Alcock.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend service in celebration of Helen?s life on Thursday at 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common.
Visiting hours are Thursday beginning at 4:00 P.M. prior to the service.
