Mesrobian, Charlotte, 92, of Swampscott, formerly of Brookline and Methuen, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2010 at the Hospice of the North Shore after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Leon Mesrobian, and the daughter of the late Hrant and Manig (Yerganian) Evlian. She was the mother of Leona of NH, the late Michael of Boston, and Carl of Salem, and the sister of the late Hermine Choate of TX. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Born in Armenia, she emigrated to the U.S. in 1920, and graduated from Lawrence High School with high honors in 1936. She worked as an administrative assistant at Boston University. Throughout her life she traveled throughout the United States, Europe, and Islands. She attended classes at Boston University and Harvard, loved opera and classical music. She had attended St. Paul Church in Brookline and enjoyed her family and was a friend to many. She will be missed by all.
