CIAMPA, John C.- Of Malden, November 28th. Devoted husband of the late Regina (Spagnuolo). Beloved father of Carol Bilsbury and her husband Leigh of Chelmsford, Susan Galvin and her husband Gerald of Norwell and Patricia Rooney of Beverly. Dear brother of Carmine Ciampa of Peabody, Theresa Mackey of NH and the late Frank, Jr., Charles and Joseph Ciampa. Also lovingly survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Wednesday, December 1st at 8:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10 o'clock. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Born in Malden and a lifelong resident until he began receiving supportive care at Woodbriar of Wilmington, John passed away Sunday morning at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital 5 days after celebrating his 90th birthday. A skilled welder by trade, for over 30 years until its closing, he worked at the Charlestown Navy Yard and later continuing his trade at General Electric for over 10 years, retiring in the mid-80's. A proud Marine Corp. Veteran of World Warr II he was also a member of the Malden Moose.
