James E. "Jim" Coyle age 64 of Oxford, PA passed away suddenly on Monday May 17, 2010 at his home. Jim was the beloved husband of the late Barbara Lee Cox Coyle, with whom he celebrated 31 years of marriage. Born in Lancaster, PA, Jim was the son of Ethel Hazel McMichael Coyle of Calvert, MD and the late Francis J. Coyle.
Jim was a vetran of the United States Navy serving in Vietnam, Grenada, and Lebanon. he retired after 23 years of service as a Chief Warrant Officer-CWO3. He was a member of the AMVETS of Lewis, Del, VFW Post # 5467 ofKennett Square, American Legion of Christiana, Fraternal order of Eagles of Oxford, Fraternal Order of Moose of Coatesville and Fleet Naval Reserve of Mayport, FL.
In addition to his mother, Jim is survived by a daughter, Kim Anderson of Rising Sun, MD, a son James E. Coyle, II of Oxford, PA, two sisters, Linda Hook, wife of Mike of Lancaster, PA and Margaret Rivello, wife of Tom of West Chester, PA.
