Jennie (Dellaria) LaMarca, a long-time Medford resident died Wednesday evening at the Woburn Nursing Center. She was 88.
Mrs. LaMarca was born and raised in East Boston, the daughter of the late Giacomo and Rose Dellaria. She was a dedicated housewife and mother who was dedicated to her family and friends. Mrs. LaMarca was also a member of the Santa Maria Lodge of the Sons of Italy, Medford. Her husband Joseph S. LaMarca died in 1971.
She is survived by her son, Joseph LaMarca and his wife Diana of Woburn and a grandson James. She was the sister of Phyllis Vella of Medford, and the late Rose Avila, Grace Amato, Josephine D'Addario, Jack and Vito Dellaria. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Friday from 4 - 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, Medford, Saturday at 9AM. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
