
Trudy Ostine Ruis Hogan Moore, 95, of Tifton died Monday, November 29, 2010, at Tift Health Care. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Dan McEachin, Rev. Joseph Crumley and Murray L. Hand will officiate with burial to follow in Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. The family will be gathering at the home of Louise and Bobby Hand at 1610 U. S. Highway 82 East in Tifton.
Mrs. Moore was born on October 7, 1915 in Worth County and was the daughter of Thomas Wilson Ruis and Molly Jane Strange Ruis, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, John William Hogan, Jr. and H. L. Moore. She was also preceded in death by one son, Johnny M. Hogan; seven brothers; and four sisters. She was a homemaker and loved the outdoors, gardening, cooking and sewing. She was a member of Tift Avenue Church of God and had lived in Tifton since 1969 from Berrien County where she was engaged in farming.
Mrs. Moore is survived by one son, Thomas Lamar Hogan of Enigma; two daughters and one son-in-law, Eloise Smith of Albany and Louise and Bobby Hand of Tifton; 14 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren.
