Frankie Esther Rutland Horner, 74, of Orlando, Florida died Saturday, November 27, 2010, at Vitas Hospice at Manor Care in Winter Park, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2010 in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Joseph Crumley and Father Lonnie Lacy will officiate with burial to follow in the Zion Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2010, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Horner was born on January 26, 1936 in Tifton and was the daughter of Elias O’Quinn Rutland and Eunice Willis Rutland, both deceased. She was retired as a legal secretary and worked in the banking business. She also served in the United States Air Force.
Mrs. Horner is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Gerard Brennan of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey; one son and daughter-in-law, Glen Allen and Svetlana Horner of Boston, Massachusetts; two grandchildren, Nicole and Matthew Brennan of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey; two sisters, Jo Edith Lindsey of Tifton and Patricia Harvey of Rome; one niece, Lisa Lindsey Kent; three nephews, Joey and John Allen Lindsey and Lawrence Harvey; and numerous cousins.
