Mrs. Blanche Jefferson Mooneyham, age 92, passed away on November 25, 2010 at Riverside Health Care Center.
Born October 30, 1918 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Charles Henry Jefferson and Mary Ellen Jefferson. She was a long time member of Moffett Memorial Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include one son: Douglas Mooneyham of Wilmington, NC; two daughters: Carolyn Rodriquez of Whitewright, TX, and Norman Johns of Danville; one sister: Inzy Swicegood of Danville; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 29, 2010 in Highland Burial Park, officiated by Rev. J. B. Baldridge. The family will receive friends from 1 – 3 p.m., following the service, at 5019 Ridgewood Drive.
