Obituary

Clifford A. Larson, 55, of Greene St., Woonsocket, died Tuesday at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence with his family by his side. He was the husband of Jeanne L. (Gauvin) Larson.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of Sylvia A. (Roark) Larson and the late Frederick Larson. He was a lifelong resident of Woonsocket.
Mr. Larson proudly served his country as a U.S. Navy Corpsman. He was stationed at various posts stateside, at sea, and abroad.
Cliff was a dedicated fan of all New England sports teams and was a Patriots man to the core.
He was also passionate about music and took pleasure in playing his guitar for those around him, borrowing his inspiration most often from the Beatles.
In spite of the many challenges Cliff bravely faced he will be remembered for his upbeat and positive attitude. His outlook on life will always be an inspiration to his family and friends.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Justin Larson of Woonsocket, daughters Lauren Larson of Woonsocket, Crystal Gauvin-Pysczynski of Burrillville, Chantal Gebro of NH, and his special stepson, Richard Ward of Burrillville. He was the brother of Brian Larson of Ohio, Phillip Larson, Sr. of Texas, Cynthia Thayer of Woonsocket, and Judith Dunn of North Smithfield. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and his extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
His funeral will be Monday at 8:45 am from the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Precious Blood Church, Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Burial with military honors will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday from 4-8 pm.
