Margaret L.(DePrizio) Bent, 91, a lifelong resident of Mansfield passed away unexpectedly on Thursday November 25, 2010 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of James R. Bent.
Born in Mansfield, MA on October 30, 1919 she was a loving daughter of the late Frank and Alfonsena (Moschela) DePrizio.
A graduate of Mansfield High School, she furthered her education to become a graduate of Burdett College in Boston.
Before retiring, Mrs. Bent was an Administrative Assistant and had been employed for over 20 years at the Foxboro Co. in Foxboro.
Margaret was a lifelong communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield and was a benefactor of the Congregation of the Holy Cross Eastern Province for Peru Missions.
In addition to her beloved husband she is survived by many adoring nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her 8 dear siblings.
Her Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Tuesday November 30th at 10:30 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visitation will be held prior to the Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield.
In lieu of flowers, Margaret’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to the Congregation of the Holy Cross Eastern Province for Peru Missions 500 Washington St. North Easton, MA 02356.
