Obituary

FALL RIVER … Dominick A. Cichon, 90, of Fall River died Tuesday, November 23, 2010.
He was the husband of the late Gloria (Blaisdell) Cichon.
He died at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River.
He was a communicant of Holy Name Church, Fall River.
He was born in Fall River a son of the late Andrew J. and Frances (Piszcz) Cichon and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
He was employed by the City of Fall River as a Policeman for 31 years retiring in 1982.
Mr. Cichon was a member of the M.P.A. and enjoyed doing electrical work, spending time with his family, an avid sports fan, gardening and volunteering at the Raynham Flea Market. He also served in the United States Navy during W.W.II.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Cheryl A. Egan of Assonet and Carol A. Costa of Fall River, 2 brothers: Joseph A. Cichon of Fall River and Henry P. Cichon of Somerset, 3 grandchildren: Kerry A. Egan, Dominick A. Costa, and Abbey G. Costa, several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Ann B. Banalewvicz, Mitty, William, and Fred Cichon.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday at 7:30 AM from the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM at Holy Name Church, Hanover Street, Fall River. Calling hours Monday at 7:30AM.
