Clay Allen McCammon, age 47 , died on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. He was born on June 3, 1963 in Memphis, TN to William Edward and Dorothy Jean Head McCammon of Water Valley, MS. Clay was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church and he loved listening to music.
The visitation will be held Friday, November 26, 2010 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Turkey Creek Baptist Church in Calhoun County, MS. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM at Turkey Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Forest Poindexter officiating. Interment will follow at the Turkey Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Jamie McCammon, Jamie McCammon II, Chris McCammon, Eddie McCammon, Bobby Goodwin, Craig Goodwin, and Jonathan McCammon serving as pallbearers. Dorian Howell will serve as tissue bearer.
Clay is survived by his parents, William Edward and Dorothy Jean McCammon of Water Valley, MS; three brothers, Jamie (Shirley) McCammon, MS, Mike (Glenda) McCammon, and Eddie (Trish) McCammon all of Water Valley, MS; and one sister, Alma (Bobby) Goodwin of Water Valley, MS.
