WEBSTER - Josephine G. (Krysinski) Gorski, 88, formerly of Eastern Ave., died Monday, November 22, 2010 in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester with her family at her side. Her husband of 22 years, Ignatius F. Gorski, died in 1968.
She leaves a daughter, Elizabeth J. Green and her husband Kenneth E. Green; 2 grandsons, Aaron Green and his wife Hayley, and Christopher Green, all of Houston, TX; nieces and nephews.
She was born in Webster, daughter of John and Antonia (Filipski) Krysinski, and lived here all her life. She attended Bartlett High School.
Mrs. Gorski was an assembler at the American Optical Company in Southbridge for 12 years, retiring in 1983.
She was a communicant of Saint Joseph Basilica, and a member of its Holy Rosary Sodality, Sacred Heart Society and Saint Anne Society. She was an active member and volunteer of the community at Christopher Heights from 2005 to 2010, and established many solid friendships there.
The funeral will be held Saturday, November 27, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. A calling period will be from 8:15 to 9:15 AM Saturday, November 27, in the funeral home. Donations in her name may be made to St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street, Webster, MA 01570.
