Joseph Quetrell Moore, II, 29, of 726 Chandler Mill Road, Pelham, NC, died Saturday, November 20, 2010, at Morehead Memorial Hospital, Eden, NC. Born February 23, 1981, in Danville, VA, he was the son of Ronnie W. Moore and Candace Tickle Moore.
Joseph was self-employed in roofing and light construction. He enjoyed and excelled at Kart Racing. He developed and fabricated Vendetta Racing Chassis; himself a national champion driver and kart builder. He was also an Ace Poker Player.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Flora Tickle of Providence, NC; his sister, Melena “Melon” Doss and her long time companion, Issiac Goss; two nieces, Dallas Gray and Savannah Leigh Ann all of Pelham and a number of cousins, aunts, uncles, family members and friends and his dog Kane.
A visitation and memorial service will be held at a later date.
