Mrs. Beatrice Doris (Beaulieu) Cloutier, a lifelong resident of Andover, passed away at the Lawrence General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family and following a brief illness on Sunday morning, November 21, 2010. Beatrice was 90 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence R. Cloutier, who was born in Skowhegan, Maine.
Born in Andover on June 27, 1920, she was the beloved daughter of the late Louis A. and Delvina Beaulieu. Mrs. Cloutier was a retired nurse from the Tewksbury State Hospital and the Coles Nursing Home in Andover. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Augustine Church in Andover and served the church as a eucharistic minister and lector. In her earlier years, she loved to garden at her home in Andover and also enjoyed reading. For the past three years Beatrice enjoyed attending the Andover Senior Center. She had a special love for animals. She also enjoyed walking, and loved the state of Maine where she resided with her daughter Jeanne for a year.
Mrs. Cloutier will be sorely missed by her loving children; Jerry Cloutier and his wife Cindy (Gaudet) of Andover, Jeanne M. (Cloutier) and her husband Joseph C. Mills of Windsor, Maine, and Louise S. (Cloutier) and her husband Armand J. Hamman of East Wakefield, New Hampshire. Beatrice had nine grandchildren; Christopher, Eric, Kimberly, Daniel, Gregory, Stacie, Benjamin, Jason, and Holly. She also had thirteen great-grandchildren.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover, Saturday, November 27, 2010, at a time to be announced. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Friday, November 26, 2010, from 3 to 7 PM. Internment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, Andover.
