WORCESTER-Eleanor A. Bagin, of Worcester, died Saturday, November 20th in Holden Nursing Home, Holden. She leaves her sister, M. Carol Tubridy of Worcester; three nephews, John J. Tubridy and his wife Kathleen of Chelmsford, Michael F. Tubridy and his wife Lynda of Charlottesville, VA and Kevin P. Tubridy and his wife Merrilee of Veedersburg, IN; her niece, Patricia A. Walsh and her husband David of Holden.
Ms. Bagin was born in Worcester, the daughter of John and Agnes (Sullivan) Bagin. She graduated from St. Peter’s High School and the former St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing. Ms. Bagin received her Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College and her Master Degree from Assumption College. She was a school nurse at Auburn High School and had done private duty and floor duty at St. Vincent Hospital. Ms. Bagin was a member of St. Stephen’s Church, the Catholic Nurses Association and the Retired Teachers Association.
The funeral is Tuesday, November 23rd with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Stephen’s Church, 357 Grafton Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
