BOSTON … Mitchell Pierce, 59, of Dartmouth passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010 after a long illness.
He was born in Westport the son of Norman Pierce and Lillian (Waldrop) Arruda.
He enjoyed NASCAR, football, basketball, dancing, camping, the beach, his good friends and his cat Sheeba. He was an avid Patriots and Celtics fan.
Survivors include his parents, a son: Kristopher Pierce of Fall River, a daughter: Kimberly Pierce of Fall River, a brother Mark Arruda and his wife Shirley of Tiverton RI, a sister: Cindy Pierce of Fall River, 3 Grandchildren: Nicholas Cox, Mason Pierce, Jade Tavares and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Peter Pierce.
Memorial Visitation to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Sunday from 11am-1pm at the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River.
