WORCESTER – Mr. Francis R. Gerardi, 71, passed away Friday November 19 at St Francis Home surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty-two years, Mrs. Carol(Whitman) Gerardi of Worcester, two children, , Jeff Gerardi of Worcester , a daughter, Brenda Deroches and her husband Edward of Leicester; and his extended family Michael Gerardi, Glen Gerardi, and Christopher Gerardi, fomerly of Worcester; a sister, Marilyn Mari and her husband John of Worcester; a stepson, Kurt Zmyslowski and a stepdaughter, Kim Morell; he also leaves eleven grandchildren, Kyle, Amani, Sadie, and Santino Gerardi, Courtney and P.J. LaCroix and five extended grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was born January 8, 1939 in Worcester, Massachusetts a son of the late Frank and Mary(Perro) Gerardi.
A lifelong resident, Francis was educated through the Worcester Schools. Francis was an avid Red Sox fan , enjoyed vacationing at he beach and being with his family.
He worked for many years as a cab driver in the Worcester community.
He was a parishoner of Our Lady of the Lourdes Church. Francis was known and loved by many and will be surely missed.
His funeral will be held Monday November 22nd from FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch St. Worcester with a Funeral Mass at 10a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Worcester.
