Shirley Ann Mohon, 73, Clarksville, died Friday, November 19, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2 PM Sunday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with the Rev. Kim Smith officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery Bumpus Mills, TN. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home and from 12 PM until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Shirley was born on December 26, 1936 in Bumpus Mills, TN to the late James Heflin and Viola Hutchison Heflin. She was preceded in death by a husband; Jessie Herman Mohon, Sr. and two sons; Richie Heflin and Steve Rittenberry. She was a loving homemaker. Survivors include three sons; Danny Rittenberry of Memphis, TN, Robert Adams of Hopkinsville, KY and Herman Mohon of Clarksville, four daughters; Cricket (Mike) Maples, Anita (Eddie) Roberts, Rose (James) Benner, and Martha (Leslie) Sturgis all of Clarksville, four sisters; Kathy Lee, Gertie Heflin, Nancy Austin all of Clarksville, and Haley Boyle of Dover, TN, twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Scott Steffans, Joey Rittenberry, Brian Rittenberry, Richie Rittenberry, Edward Roberts, Adam Maples, Trey Hodge, and Nick Rittenberry.
