Beatrice (Silva) Sweet age 91 of Salem, NH, died peacefully Friday at her home in Salem, NH, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Danvers, MA, 1 of 16 children; she grew up and was educated in Topsfield, MA. She was a resident of Salem for the past 50 years, formerly of Methuen and Andover, MA.
Mrs. Sweet was retired from Lucent Technologies in North Andover, MA.
She was a member of the RSROA-Roller Skating Rink Operators of America. She loved roller skating and skated competitively. Most of all family was the most important part of her life.
She was predeceased by her husband Charles Sweet. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Alexander, Oliver, Manuel, & Serino Silva, Diolinda Durkee, & Evelyn Sweet.
She is survived by her 3 sons: Charles Jr. & his wife Doris Sweet of Seabrook, NH
John & his wife Elaine Sweet of Greer, SC
James & his wife Sharon Sweet of Salem, NH

Calling hours will be Monday, Nov. 22 from 9:30-11 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11 AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem.
