Guy Manganaro died Monday at the Brighten at Medford Care Center. He was 87.
Born and raised in East Boston, son of the late John and Sarah (Grudano) Manganaro, he was educated in local schools. Later moving to Medford where he remained a resident for well over 50 years. Guy worked the produce markets of Boston in various capacities and following retirement he enjoyed the Boston Red Sox and was a big fan of the Lawrence Welk program.
Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Alessio). Devoted father of Sandra Scutellaro of Somerville, Charles Cella and his wife Patrica of Malden, Diane Brietzke of Medford and the late Alfred Cella. Father-in-law of Donna Cella of Wareham and the late Louis Scutellaro.
Also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street; MEDFORD, Thursday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM . Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
