WORCESTER-Joseph Chavoor, 88, of Worcester, died Wednesday, November 10th in Parsons Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He is survived by his sister Lucy Chavoor of Worcester and several cousins. His brother Jacob Chavoor and his sister Sarah Simonian predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Peter and Annie (Hoyen) Chavoor. Joseph had worked for many years as a baker for the former Lederman’s Bakery. He had been a member of the Central Mass Deaf Senior Center since it was founded in 1989.
A private funeral and burial will take place at the convenience of the family. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Central Mass Deaf Senior Center, 695 Southbridge Street, Worcester, MA 01610.
