Salvatore G. Mozzicato, 83, passed away at home in Medford on November 13th, 2010. He was born in Canicattini Bagni, Sicily on July 13th, 1927 to his parents Michele and Rosina (Ferla) Mozzicato. Salvatore was raised and educated in Sicily. He moved to the United States as a young man and has been a resident of Medford for the past 47 years. For many years he worked as a Quality Assurance Inspector for the Gillette Company. He is survived by his wife, Mary T. (Ciurcina) Mozzicato; by his children, Rosanna Ryan and her husband Kevin of Alfred, NH, Michael S. Mozzicato and his wife Michelle of Stoneham and Lucille Pitts and her fiancé Fred Holt of Holbrook; by his grandchildren Anthony, Mark, Nicole, Paul, Stephanie, Christopher, Kerri Ann, Leah and Allison; and by his siblings, Santino Mozzicato, Josephine Cavalieri and Paolo Mozzicato, all of Sicily. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Wednesday November 17th at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday November 16th from 4-8 PM.
