Obituary

NEW BEDFORD — Milton A. DeMoranville, 91, died Friday, November 12, 2010, at The Oaks following a period of declining health. He was the husband of the late Marjorie (Todd) DeMoranville with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.

Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Harold and Gertrude (Caswell) DeMoranville, he resided in New Bedford and North Dartmouth for most of his life.

Mr. DeMoranville retired from Revere Copper and Brass as an electrician, was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and also served in the Army.

He enjoyed dancing, reading and sports, especially his beloved Red Sox.

Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Drew and her husband, Stephen of Mattapoisett; a son, David DeMoranville and his wife, Joan of San Diego; grandchildren, Ryan Drew of Los Angeles, David DeMoranville of San Diego, Justin DeMorranville and his wife, Jocelyn of LaJolla, CA, Joshua Drew of North Dartrmouth, Shannon Drew of Watertown and Amy and Erin DeMoranville of Denver. He also leaves his sister, Norma Langlois and her husband Normand; a niece, Susan Langlois, all of New Bedford and a dear friend, Eveline Charest of Fall River. He was also the father of the late Robert DeMoranville and brother of the late Harold DeMoranville.

His funeral service will be on Tuesday, Nov. 16th at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Chapel, 479 County St., NB with visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home
