Helen C. (Farren) Russell, 74 of Medford formerly of Charlestown died Sunday unexpectedly in the Massachusetts General Hospital Boston, MA.
Born in Charlestown, she lived in Medford for the past 38 years and was the daughter of the late Elwood and Nellie (McKay) Farren. Helen was a Manager, employed by New England Telephone in Malden for 35 years and retired in 1978.
Beloved wife of the late Frederick J. Russell. Devoted mother of Christine Rowsell and her husband Robert of Enfield, NH, Frederick W. Russell, Stephen Russell and his wif Lisa all of Medford and Helen Russell of California. Also survived by 6 loving grandchildren.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, at 10:30 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Wednesday 4 thru 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
