New Bedford – William Lewis III, age 26 years, died Wednesday, November 10, 2010, unexpectedly. He was the loving son of Cecelia (Miguel) Lewis Beauvais-Warr and her husband Chico Mendonca of New Bedford and William Lewis II, and loving grandson of Deolinda Fontes of New Bedford, Mr. Lewis was born in New Bedford. William was survived by his sister and godmother Nicole BW Arruda and her husband David of Dartmouth,, sister Amanda P. Martins of Dartmouth, and his other siblings. He is also survived by his nephew Dymitri JBW Sherman and his niece Kyanna RBW Silveira both of Dartmouth and several cousins, aunts, and uncles.
William was a Bank Teller at Sovereign Bank. He also enjoyed a modeling career and filled in as an extra on Network Television.
Mr. Lewis’s Visiting hours will be Monday from 4-7 P.M. Services will take place at 5:00 P.M. during Visiting Hours. Relatives and friends are invited. Arrangements are by the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St.
