Sunnyvale, CA. - Delvina C. Medeiros, age 83, died Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Mountain View Health Care Center in Santa Clara, CA. She was the wife of the late John P. Medeiros. Mrs. Medeiros was the mother of John Medeiros of Freemont, CA., David Medeiros and his wife Patricia of Fairhaven, MA. and the late Joseph Medeiros. Delvina was the grandmother of Garrett Medeiros, Dylan Medeiros and Nicholas Bernier. She was the sister of Violet Cunha of CA. and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Medeiros has several siblings that have predeceased her.
Mrs. Medeiros was a daughter of the late Margaret (Boroa) and Frank Mello. She was born in New Bedford and had lived in this area most of her life prior to moving to California 29 years ago.
Mrs. Medeiros’s funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. on Monday at 9:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Visiting hours will be Sunday 5 - 8 P.M. Burial will take place at St. John’s Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited.
