SPENCER: Harvey H. Lampron 80, of 60 Main St., died Friday, Nov. 12 in Lutheran Health Care, Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 49 years, Theresa M. (Dowgielewicz) Lampron of Spencer, two sons John A. Lampron and his wife Jerilyn and Paul A. Lampron all of Spencer, three daughters Mary E.L. Shepherd and her husband John of Holden, Patricia A. Roseberry and her husband Alan of Princeton and Margaret M. Kennen and her husband Thomas of Spencer, six grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a daughter Kathleen F. Lampron in 1993, and brothers Raymond, Emile and George Lampron, and a sister D.Elaine Marion.
Harvey was a draftsman for 20 years at the former Crompton & Knowles Corp. in Worcester, retiring in the 1980’s.
He was born in Spencer, the son of Athan and Victoria (Gagne) Lampron. He graduated from David Prouty High School in Spencer and Worcester Junior College. He served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and was a member of the Gaudette-Kirk Post 138 American Legion in Spencer and the V.F.W. Post of No.Brookfield. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 118 in Spencer and a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish where at onetime after his retirement he worked as a caretaker.
The funeral will be held on Monday, Nov. 15 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Mary,Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
