Jessica Nicole Stone Riggins, 28, of 156 Spring Avenue, Danville, VA, died November 9, 2010, at Roanoke Carilion Hospital. Born February 16, 1982, in Danville, she was the daughter of Douglas Eugene Stone and Leah White Wall. She was married to Joshua Lee Riggins who predeceased her.
Jessica is survived by a daughter, Jayden Riggins, and two sons, Jaycob & Joseph Riggins all of Danville; a step father, Douglas A. Wall, Sr. of Danville and a step mother, Theresa Smith Stone of Danville; two brothers, Matthew D. Stone and Douglas A. Wall, Jr. both of Danville; three sisters, Sarah E. Stone of South Boston, VA, Rebekah Stone of Danville and Amanda F. Wall of Lake Butler, Florida and a God sister, Lawanda Townes of High Point, NC. Also surviving are her maternal grandparents, James and Donna White of Danville and paternal grandparents, John and Sallie Stone of Providence, NC.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2010, at Swicegood Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Curtis Faison officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times will be at 415 Rosemary Lane, Danville, VA.
