Mary M. Ramoley, 66, of Germantown Hills passed away at 2:45am Friday Nov 12, 2010 at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born on January 26, 1944 in Roanoke, the daughter of Sam and Lena Beoletto Sassio. She married Roger Ramoley January 13, 1962 in Roanoke. He passed away on January 20, 1995 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter.
Surviving are four children Gayle (David) Wernsman of Germantown, Hills, Roger Ramoley of Germantown Hills, Regina (Gary) Roe of Peoria and Anthony Ramoley of Germantown Hills. 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren further survive her.
She worked for Kiefer Electric and White Farm Equipment both in Peoria for several years. She later worked at Caterpillar Inc for many years retiring in 2002. While working at Caterpillar she also worked part-time as a hostess at Wernsman’s in Germantown Hills. She was a member of St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church in rural Metamora. Her passion and her love was her family and to work with her many variety of flowers in her garden.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am Tuesday November 16, 2010 at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Neri Greskoviak officiating. Visitation will be from 4pm until 7pm at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with recitation of the Rosary at 7pm. Burial will be in St. Mary of Lourdes Cemetery in rural Metamora. Memorials may be given in her name to mass offerings, or Germantown Hills Fire and Rescue.
