Mary A. (Mee) McLaughlin 95, a Franklin resident since 1991, died Wednesday November 10, 2010 at the Medway Country Manor Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Daniel J. McLaughlin, who died in 1998.
Born in Boston, April 22, 1915 a daughter of the late William J. and Margaret E. (Butler) Mee, she formerly lived in Roslindale and Jamaica Plain before moving to Franklin. She was a retired homemaker.
She loved spending time with family, and enjoyed cooking. She was also a communicant of St. Mary’s Church. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor.
She is survived by 2 daughters; Patricia M. Young and her husband Bill of Lakeville, and Sheila A. Hooper of Franklin. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late William H. Mee, Catherine T. Reilly and Margaret E. Maloney. She is also the mother-in-law of the late Joseph Hooper of Franklin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Saturday November 13th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. (www.franklinfuneral.com) with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. Franklin, at 10AM.
Interment will follow in Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
