TEWKSBURY - Barbara A. "Mimi" (Bayly) Consaul, age 75, the matriarch of a large well known Tewksbury family, died unexpectedly Tuesday night, November 9, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa Florida. She was en route to a family vacation in Fort Myers, when she suffered an apparent heart attack.
She was born in Troy, New York, one of fourteen children of the late Harry and Veronica (Dingley) Bayly. She was raised in Troy and moved to Tewksbury in 1968 to raise her own family of nine.
She was a communicant of St. William's Church.
She is survived by eight children, Deborah Palumbo and her husband Edward of Tewksbury, Robert Consaul Jr. of TN, B. Ronald Consaul of Tewksbury, Kevin Consaul and his wife Gail (Gacek) of Dracut, Bruce Consaul and his wife Rosemary (McGonigle) of Bartlett, NH, Atty. Scott Consaul and his wife Linda (Kelley) of Tewksbury, Diana Milley of Tewksbury, Lisa Kelley and her husband Edward of Billerica; eighteen grandchildren, Jonathan Palumbo of So. Boston, Benjamin Consaul of Dracut, Brandon Consaul of Haverhill, Kevin Consaul Jr. of Nashua, NH, Jacqueline Consaul of Tewksbury, Shauna Consaul of Billerica, Heaven Rondeau of Lowell, Michael Gacek, and Jennifer Gacek both of Dracut, Terrance Consaul, Rebecca Consaul, and Brianna Consaul all of Bartlett, NH, Veronica Consaul, Dyllan Milley both of Tewksbury, Nicole Shaw, Christopher Kelley, Alisa Danico, and Cynthia Kelley all of Billerica; eight great grandchildren, Liana, Michael, Alyssa, Isaiah, Madison, Lillie, Nyla, and Aydin; eight brothers and sisters, Beverly Durivage and her husband Al of FL, Barry Bayly and his wife Karen of FL, Bette Talham and her husband Robert of NY, Bradley Bayly of NY, Brian Bayly and his wife Marge of NY, Brenda Buckley and her husband James of FL, Bernadette Jackson and her husband Richard of FL, Benjamin Bayly and his wife Shirley of NY; sisters-in-law, Jean Bayly and Patricia Bayly both of FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also mother of the late Donna Vasey; sister of the late Buddy Bayly, Blake Bayly, Bernard Bayly, Bernice Couch, Beryl Hunter; and former wife of the late Robert D. Consaul Sr.
