Anthony Donald Baiairri, a longtime resident of Woburn, passed away on Saturday, December 13, the husband of the late Rose T. (Fucarile).
Born and raised in Arlington, he and Rose settled in Woburn after he served in the Air Force during World War II. For many years he operated a cobbler shop across from St. Charles Church. He later worked for Purity Supreme Market in there deli department. He was devoted to his family and a daily parishioner at St. Charles Church. After his retiremnet he enjoyed gardening and being with his family.
Surviving in addition to his daughter Linda Baiarri of Woburn, are his brother Ernest Baiarri of Watertown, also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son A. Donald Baiarri Jr. and his brother Michael Baiarri.
His funeral will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn on Thursday, December 18, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St. Woburn at 10. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
