Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 9am. The Service of the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church, 343 N. Main Street, Brockton at 10am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8pm, Service of Incense at 6pm.

Margaret F. George, 80 years, of Brockton died Sunday at the Brockton Hospital. She was born in Brockton, the daughter of the late Manthala and Mantura (Mahanna) George, Sr.
She was born January 20, 1923, Ms. George was the co-proprietress of the Le Mar House of Fashion in Brockton. For over 48 years, the shop was a well-established business that conducted numerous style shows throughout New England. Previously, she worked as a dental assistant for her brother, the late Dr. William A. George.
She was a communicant of Saint Theresa’s Maronite Catholic Church in Brockton and attended Brockton Public Schools. She was a member of the Brockton Hospital Ambassador’s Club and a founder of the Dr. William A. George Scholarship Foundation. Ms. George, along with her sister and business partner, Lee Roukous of Brockton, conducted benefit style shows for countless charitable organizations throughout the Brockton and Boston areas. She traveled extensively, and enjoyed entertaining her many friends at the shop and her Brockton home.
She is survived by her sisters, Mary Davin and Lee Roukous, a brother Manthala A. George Jr. all of Brockton and a brother Michael George of Taunton. She was the sister of the late Abraham George, Dr. William A. George, and Joseph J. George, all formerly of Brockton. She was also the beloved aunt of several nieces and nephews
