New Bedford - Maria Lourdes (Cravo) Campos, age 59, died Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at St. Luke’s Hospital in the company of her loving family. She was the wife of Nelson A. Campos of Dartmouth. Loved mother of Rui J. Campos and his companion Diane Gardiner of Bourne and Sergio C. Campos and his wife Crystal of North Dartmouth. She was the loving grandmother of Ryan Campos, son of Jessica Calvao. Maria was the sister of Odelia Cordeiro of Figuera da Foz, Portugal.
Mrs. Campos was a daughter of the late Luis Francisco and Laura (Santos) Cravo. She was born in Figueira da Foz, Portugal and has lived here since 1977. Maria was a baker with Pastelaria Colmeia.
Mrs. Campos’ funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. on Saturday at 9:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated. Visiting hours will be Friday from 5:30 – 7:30 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
