Worcester- Anna (Swieczkowski) Wasilewska, 100, of 26 Ward St., died Saturday, Dec. 13, in Radius Healthcare Center.
Her husband of 30 years, Adam Wasilewski, died in 1956. She leaves five daughters, Janina Goclowski, Maria Chrzanowski, Lucyna Karlowicz, Sabina Zibrid, and Alina Kowalczyk, all of Worcester; 19 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Two daughter, Irena Jembrzycka and Czeslawa Swiderska, both of Poland, predeceased her. She was born in Poland, daughter of Andrew and Aniela (Cwalinska) Swieczkowski, and lived there before moving here in 1978.
Her prayer life being most important to her, she was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish, and was formerly active in many parish activities.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, Dec. 17, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, in the funeral home.
